Farmington, MI asked in Divorce for Michigan

Q: Issues with ex wife not moving from property so it can be sold. Harassing other family members in the home.

May 2017 home was supposed to be sold. Son wants to buy it. Ex wife has hoarded the home. Currently in the process of getting her and her hoard out. Ex wife has not resided in the home for 2 weeks and is harassing the son and girlfriend. Friends of the Ex are either walking into the house or trying to break in through locked doors and windows. Police have stated that until she is formally evicted that she and/or her friends may gain entry I to the home without notice day or night. What can we do legally to get this to stop?

A: What does the judgment of divorce say? If it says the house is to be sold, then you need to file a post-judgment motion to enforce that. You may also need to file a formal eviction action.
