Q: hi, Can the buyer under a bond for deed contract request an extension to refinance?
the buyers will miss the deadline to refinance by the end of the contract.
A: One can always request, but whether or not the request is granted and/or modifies (extends) the bond for deed contract depends on the what was agreed upon ----take a look at the bond for deed contract and see what it says---if it's confusing or not clear, then have an attorney review. That said, the buyer want to negotiate with the seller to allow an extension of it regardless of the wording.
