New Albany, OH asked in Adoption and Family Law for Florida

Q: Can a grandfather sue for visitation of a child in FL who has been legally adopted by someone else?

Bio mother is deceased. Bio dad allowed adoption to take place. I took custody of my non-bio granddaughter and then adopted her. Grandfather is becoming increasingly mentally unstable and has threatened court even though I allow him to see his granddaughter quite often. There may come a time when I need to suspend visits due to his unstable and irrational behavior.
