A: Please don't shoot the dog. That poor animal doesn't know what it's doing, nor does it understand property boundaries. There are Tennessee Animal/Dog law attorneys here who know this area of law best, but your question remains open for a week and there are more humane solutions. It's not the dog's fault; it's the owner's fault.

You could use the tab above, Find-a-Lawyer, to search for Animal/Dog law attorneys by city or region in Tennessee. If you can't find guidance, an animal control agency, humane society, or other animal welfare organization would probably be able to offer guidance free of charge. Don't take it out on the poor dog. Good luck
