A: Presumably you are looking for an attorney to pursue a claim against the ski resort. You probably need to find an attorney licensed to practice in North Carolina, not Florida.

A: It certainly sounds like you have a valid and worthwhile potential claim to compensate you for your pain and suffering, medical bills, and any other related damages. The first step in this situation is to present a claim to the insurance company for the business operating the ski lift, and if that is unsuccessful, the next step is filing a lawsuit in North Carolina. Though you would need a NC attorney if suit must be filed, Florida attorneys can help you get the process started.
