A: You should probably call a lawyer specializing in car injuries. Ask your friends for a referral. I am sure at least some of them have been in car accidents and can recommend a good lawyer or two. Many injury lawyers will be happy to discuss your options and will give you an initial consultation for free, and, assuming they like your case, most of them will happily represent you on a contingency basis (meaning you pay them only if you win the case - a percentage of your monetary award). Good luck!

A: I agree with the attorney from Los Angeles. You should likely discuss your rights/ options with an attorney an attorney can help you understand how your medical bills should be handled. First things- make sure to take care of your health. In Tennessee, while you have a year to file a lawsuit for personal injury- don't wait that long- don't get close to that end date.

A: You should first obtain medical treatment for your injuries. If you were injured in the accident you will want medical evidence supporting your injury. You should also reach out to a personal injury attorney. Every case is different, you will want to make sure you do everything in your best interest to obtain the compensation you deserve.
