A: It is common in some courts (especially St. Louis County Circuit Court), for it to take several months for a traffic ticket to get filed and a court date to be assigned. You can hire an attorney to get your tickets amended to non-moving, no-point infractions. You won't have to appear in court. Your attorney will monitor your tickets on Casenet and will file their pleadings and appear in court once your tickets are filed and a court date is set. Or you can just wait until the court sends you a letter notifying you of your court date.
