Asked in Criminal Law and Traffic Tickets for Tennessee

Q: Verbal warning for driving on revoked but apparently 11 days later there's actual charges on my record for this incident

How can I receive a verbal warning for driving on revoked and allowed to leave with my friend driving and find out 11 days after this traffic stop I have charges for driving on revoked and possession of paraphernalia a whole different charge that I have no clue about on me from that same traffic stop where I received the verbal warning how can they do that I have not even been informed of these new charges only saw them from trying to get a job requiring my background check

A: If your record shows that you are being charged with a crime, you want to take it serious and hire a criminal defense attorney to act on your behalf to ensure that your rights are preserved.
