Q: If they go to court after it over do u get ur money back u put up to get them out

We pay 3000. Dollar and they did not give it back

A: If you use a bonding company, then you do not get the money back. If you pay the full bond amount directly to the jail, then the money is returned at the conclusion of the case.

A: Once the case is over (either dismissed, or a plea or conviction is entered), the bond is returned to the person or people posting it. However, if you went through a bonding company to make bail, then the money you paid (typically 10-12% of the total bond) was a fee for them to post the entire amount on your behalf. You don't get fees paid to bondsmen back--that's how they make their money.

If you posted a cash bond yourself and have not received the money back, you should contact the clerk of court and let them know and they will assist you in tracking it down.
