Q: Can my wife file child support on me if she left me and started talking and having sex with someone we’re still married

My wife left me and started talking to someone else and having sex with them while I moved out cause I knew something was going on but I still was paying half the bills until I found out about her affair so now she’s talking about putting me on child support but I get my kids for half every week she just wants to put me on child support cause I don’t want to help her pay her bills she didn’t put me on the lease but I was giving her half the rent but I found out she’s was sleeping with someone else then got mad cause I told her I wasn’t paying none of her bills any more and the only thing I’m gonna help with is whatever my kids needs and that’s what I do she don’t have time for my kids she takes trips all the time with her friends even when she’s home it’s like she ain’t cause she’s always in her room on her phone but when it’s time for me to get my kids there with me I don’t have no days to myself cause I rather spend the time I get with them with my kids I get them Thursday-Sunday

A: Child support is the right of the child so she can request that you pay child support.
