A: A Kansas attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks, and it looks like time is of the essence in your handling of the matter. No one here could evaluate the validity of the service based on your recollection - it would come down to affidavits from the process server company. But if there is a default judgment, you should speak with an attorney without delay. If your insurance company was brought onboard, you should speak with them about legal representation. An attorney should be advising you - this is more complex in its scope than the basic Q & A format here. Good luck
