Magalia, CA asked in Car Accidents for New Mexico

Q: I would like to know the New Mexico Laws for auto accidents with no injuries lawsuit liens statute of limitations please

My husband was in an auto accident in 1996 in Ruidoso, New Mexico which resulted in a lawsuit lien on his Driver's License. We have been to the DMV who gave us a contact number for the Law firm holding the lien. That number is no longer connected to this Law office. The lien is still affecting his DL. I was asking for information pertaining to the statute of limitations & laws on this scenario please lead me in the direction towards solving this issue thank you

A: I THINK THIS SITE IS JUST FOR CALIFORNIA LAWYERS.

AS SUCH, WE KNOW CALIF LAWS, WHICH MAY BE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER STATES.

I WOULDN'T JUST ASK JUST ANY NEW MEXICO LAWYER, BUT ONE THAT IS LOCAL TO YOUR ISSUE.

GOOGLE NEW MEXICO PI LAWYERS FOR THE CITY/COUNTY IN QUESTION.

A: Did you originally post your question under "New Mexico?" If not, you could try reposting your question and changing "California" (where this question is appearing) to "New Mexico" in selecting a region. There's no guarantee of a response - some questions do go unanswered on this forum. But at least you'd have better chances of a reply posting under New Mexico. Good luck
