Q: Wrong first and middle name, wrong city for my address, wrong height and weight and wrong license type on ticket.

Got a citation for not coming to a complete stop for a right on red. was given a ticket with the wrong first and middle name(completely wrong not just misspelled) my weight and height on the ticket does not match my license, license type was written as OL when i have a CDL also wrote the wrong city for my address on the ticket. is this grounds for automatic dismissal?

A: All excellent points to present to the Court to show that the ticket was improperly issued. You still have to appear in Court because you signed a promise to appear, and the states are now interlinked, so any problem you have in IN will affect your CDL. This is in the area of traffic ticket law. You need to discuss with an attorney in your jurisdiction that specializes in this kind of law. Thank you for using Justia, Ask a Lawyer.
