They are not the holder of the debt or a note

A: An Illinois attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. Given the Q & A format of this forum, it's difficult for attorneys here to reach out to you. You would need to reach out to attorneys. Although this platform doesn't have an attorney referral section, there is a tab above, "Find a Lawyer." There are attorney referral services offered by many local and state bar associations. There are also legal aid societies that you could try.
