Luling, LA asked in Personal Injury and Car Accidents for Louisiana

Q: Is at fault insurance company liable for storage fee's for disabled vehicle that was towed to owners home sit 65 days?

They really took their time, first saying that my vehicle was totaled, after 2 months they changed my adjuster the new person said that it was not totalled and I would be issued a check a few weeks later I received the check and it was towed to the body shop.

A: I do not quite understand your question----if the vehicle is stored at the owner's home, then there's no storage fees incurred for that time period. If the vehicle is at a tow/wreck or 3rd party facility, then more information is needed---I suggest you contact an accident/injury lawyer or a general practice lawyer in your area to discuss the specifics of your situation and then decide what are your options.
