Q: A friend on parole initiated a divorce with husband. Can husband have her arrested & gain court favor at dvrce hearing?

Friend out on felony parole, initiated a divorce from her husband, husband is narcissistic, egotistical, spiteful, verbally abusive to her in front of their daughter, manipulative, coercive, and just all around toxic in general... Parolee friend and their daughter left the house, upon leaving the neighborhood she gets pulled over. Told her it was because she was weaving in the road. Second officer arrives. After delay friend is told she is free to go (2nd officer is heard saying, "we have to let her go we can't detain her for no reason"). Not a moment after pulling off, pull her right back over and when asked what the problem is, the officer tells her "I smell marijuana in the car"

My friend doesn't smoke marijuana (

A: Her being on parole and filing for divorce are not a basis for an arrest. She should be fine with her parole as long as she does not violate the law.
