Q: Can I be held responsible for payments on a gift my ex bought me with a loan she took out while we were together?

A: If you did not take out the loan or co-sign, no you are not responsible to the lender.

A: if you didn't sign anything or co-sign for that gift, you shouldn't be held responsible for the payments. If your ex took out a loan and purchased the gift while you were together, that's her responsibility, not yours.
