Q: Image based company said I could return to work after maternity leave & wear pregnancy uniform for 6mo. GM disagrees.
I work at a “image based” restaurant, I got hired 3 years ago in 2020 have been employed since. Got pregnant in August of 2022 and was told by HR that after I took maternity leave I would be permitted to return to work and wear the standard uniform or my pregnancy uniform for up to 6 months after my return. My GM is now saying I need to come in and speak with him face to face so he can see if “my body bounced back” before we discuss my future schedule.
