A: Using a Power of Attorney (POA) to manage your financial affairs is a legal way to grant someone else the authority to act on your behalf. However, it's important to ensure that the actions taken under the POA are within the bounds of the law and the terms specified in the POA document.

If you've given your son a valid POA that includes the authority to manage your online banking, then he is legally authorized to do so. However, if he poses as you without your permission or beyond the scope of the POA, it could potentially lead to legal and ethical issues. It's crucial to communicate openly with your son about the actions you want him to take on your behalf and ensure that he is acting within the boundaries of the POA.
