Q: My ex-husband has custody of are kid's.. 6/15/23 he was arrested cruelty to children 2 degree & neglect I want my kids

I been wanting my kid's.. My ex-husband will call & say you want Grant.. Do you have a place to stay, you got a job, you have money? Come get Grant I can't do nothing with him. When I would call my ex-husband back let him know I was on the way he would not answer his phone. I would call & call & call & call he would not answer his phone. After me calling 50 - 100 times he would finally answer tell me I told Grant I give him 1 more chances. My ex-husband has called me several times over the years & sometimes over the months telling me to come get Grant.. Now my ex- husband has charges against him cruelty to children 2nd degree & neglect.. What & how do I get my kid's back from my ex-husband

A: Hire an attorney immediately who can file the proper paperwork and get you back into court. You need to get temporary custody until you can get custody on a permanent basis. I would urge you not to represent yourself in this action. Get a lawyer ASAP. Contact them and schedule a consultation.
