A: You can't lie. Just admit it and move on. You aren't going to prison for an affair.

If a motion to compel is filed and you are found in contempt of court, you could be ordered to pay attorneys fees to the other party or sanctioned and force to produce your responses anyway. Therefore, the best thing for you to do is to go ahead and provide truthful responses and respond in a timely manner, according to law, from the time you were served with said request.
