A: You do not want the DA to bind it over to the Grand Jury. DA is worst than some felonies. Hire a competent attorney and prepare for the Preliminary Hearing. Possibly try to divert, dismiss and expunge the charge. This is a very serious charge which will hurt you permanently.
A: If you are already a felon, then it makes no difference. But I assume it will destroy your life.
