Littleton, CO asked in Family Law for Colorado

Q: I had restrictions put on my parenting time, if I follow all of the mediations set forth, how long before removal?

Child abuse case stemming from alcohol abuse. Parent was able to document bruises and marks NOT CAUSED BY ABUSE but by a 3 year old playing like a 3 year old does.. wobbly and wobbly... and more wobbly.. causing some normal wear and tear on her body, but nothing EVER in the way of a hit or punch or anything like that..but he insisted they were and of course because I had an addiction, they believed him. There was bogus evidence that didn't line up and I didn't end up doing any jail time for this, only had a restriction put in place and decision making taken away. 3 years later and a FULL TURN AROUND had transpired. I now have another beatific daughter, a thriving son, a great partnership with their biological father who I just bought a house with about a year ago, and even started a business for him to gain income when he was laid off his job... not to brag, but I've done some good things here in a couple years. Time for Odesza back. How do I make that happen?

A: If this was a restriction in domestic relations court, then you can file a motion to modify parenting time and decision making. You will have to satisfy the court that the child is not in danger due to your actions or environmental situation.
