New York, NY asked in Family Law and Civil Rights for New York

Q: Delayed Birth Certificate or declaratory judgment in the place of birth certificate. Had been waiting and applying for

Good Morning

Delayed Birth Certificate or Declaratory judgment in place of it

Written on the behalf of xx, an 65 years of age gentleman that has sobered up.

Until then he lived in Charlotte Street South Bronx with single mother and was born in Lincoln hospital.

To skip the long introduction he was advised by some kind of another of pro bono legal advice that his only recourse to remedy his situation is to apply at New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene at 125 Worth Street, NYC, NY 10013 and obtain either delayed birth certificate or letter of denial of it, in order to prove to judge, that he exhausted all proper and standardized procedures to establish the facts of his birth, before approaching courts as a final remedy.

He started obtaining his birth certificate in March 28th at 3 pm  2023.

After many requests by health department for documents they finally accepted his bundle/request 08/14/23.

They claim now they lost the bundle
