Q: hey so about a year ago I was assaulted by an adult. I'm a minor and I made him mad enough to assault me.(im 17, hes 20)
i had said some things to a coworker that apparently made him mad. I'm 17 and he is over 20 years old. he ended up getting fired but a week later he was hired but then my hours started getting shorter. I never filed anything since he was fired. everyone tells me I should sue but my. parents say it is not worth the time.
A: 1 year SOL from assault. You could sue for assault in General Sessions, but you will need to serve him. Damages may be nonexistent, with no medical proof. Collecting a Judgment may be impossible.
