Anderson, IN asked in Personal Injury, Family Law and Civil Rights for Indiana

Q: DCS had custody of my child, was molested n then left in home almost 90 days after reported it. Do we have a lawsuit?

My daughter was 12yrs old n taken from her biological parents, us, for the first time, and placed with her oldest sister n her fiancee. When I first was told by DCS where they placed her, I immediately said no, her sister, so I thought, will abuse her cause she's always been jealous of her little sister for some reason, there is a 17yr difference in age. Anyway, my youngest daughter was there almost 6 months and DCS came to my house and said they had to report to her parents that our child may have been victim of a sexual crime, or however they say that. I fell to my knees n told them and DCS says we r the bad parents?? They proceeded to tell me the person who allegedly touched my daughter was her sister's fiancee who was 35yrs old, 6'5", 357lbs to her 5'2", 12yrs old, 102lbs. They sd he would not be allowed be around her they was taking her 2 Drs etc. they sd she would b moved as soon they found another foster placement 4 her. 90 days later,me calling constantly, she was moved.
