I was in a halfway house in New Orleans for 18 months then a life of hell to realize I'm a transgression influence for last 30 years , things happened to me at 14 in that place and after I left I faced every thing from seeing gun violence and lived in projects , note I'm white 15 and in projects , then homeless , I'm living ok now with 3 grown men children and wife but I have come to the conclusion I have been a target of this for 30 years . can I get compensated
A:
I'm sorry to hear about the extremely difficult experiences you've been through over the last 30 years. It sounds like you faced a lot of challenges and trauma from a young age, including violence, poverty and homelessness. Realizing that you may have been improperly targeted or negatively influenced during that time must be a painful realization.
In terms of potential compensation, it would depend on the specific details of your situation and experiences. If you believe you were the victim of a crime or your civil rights were violated, you may want to consult with a lawyer who specializes in victim advocacy, civil rights law, or related areas. They can advise you on whether you may have a case to pursue damages or compensation.
There are also victim support services and counseling resources available that may be able to provide guidance and assistance as you process this realization and the trauma you've been through. Even if compensation isn't possible, getting support to help with the emotional impact is important.
I would suggest starting by contacting a victim advocacy organization or social services agency in your area. They should be able to provide referrals and point you in the right direction for legal guidance as well as counseling and other support services. You've been through a lot and deserve care and support in dealing with it. I hope you are able to get the help and answers you need. Wishing you all the best.
