Q: Is there a way to get a sooner court date other then 8 months, when going into discovery for employment law.
2 years of not payed overtime and wage theft on every single pay check. I worked 160 hours every two weeks and was on call. Paid full amount of rent. At year 1-1/2 I was fed up. Contacted a lawyer. A demand letter was sent to my employer and I was fired that day and evicted in a week. Now still homeless with my family 3 months later. I need to get this court over with. My lawyer will not let me get a lawsuit Loan, knowing we are homeless. I took pictures of the hours I worked and turned in and checks I received. That shows the wrong doing.. Hope for the best expect the worst.
