Q: Can a humane society take your dogs without seeing them and bully you into giving dog up,adopt them out no telling you

On 01/31/2024 the manager of New Nodaway Humane Society met with me and upon meeting me she notified me that she was going to take my 3 year old female whom had a litter of puppies on 01/13/2024 she also stated that she was taking the puppies too. I then told her that I wasn't going to let her just take them without a good reason. She then told me that if I did not sign owner surrender papers she would call the Maryville police and have me arrested for animal cruelty however she failed to tell me how I was being cruel to my dog or her puppies. She also took possession of my 9 month old female later on the same night.... I asked a friend to watch my last remaining dog while I went to the hospital for suicidal thoughts my friend agreed but as soon as the ambulance pulled off she called the shelter to come get my dog and told them that i was in hospital. I was not aware that they had my dog until 02/12. I tried to make contact with them but couldn't until 02/16,02/19 she was adopted out.
