Fort Wayne, IN asked in Child Support for Indiana

Q: Can my ex use a child support prosecutor to try and collect more money than what the judge ordered in our recent order?

We just had an order set up February 27th. She used an attorney and I turned all of my support payments proof into the magistrate. He set up the order as of February 27th. I lost my job February 23rd and started a new job March 18th. I had no income during the 3-4 weeks so I contacted child support. They had me fill out papers to have a new IWO set up through my new employer. Within a week, my ex had contacted the child support prosecutor and now they’re trying to say that I owe a bunch of money in arrears. March was the only month I didn’t pay because I just got a check April 10th. I have proof of my other payments. The magistrate had just set my income holdings to be $88 per week. What should I do? I got a letter from the IV-D child support prosecutor. My ex keeps messaging me that she wants more money and that she’s going to take me to the cleaners.
