Atlanta, GA asked in Criminal Law for Georgia

Q: Can police just sit back and let a informant harass a person that they claim to have information on

I believe my ex is building a false case against me and paying people to lie and accuse me of things that are not true at all just to build a ridiculous case that would take me years to try to get out of and that the cops are allowing him to do whatever he wants. Such as stalk me and have other people follow me.to torment and harass me and just do what ever he wants and let him get away with it he's on drugs and he has lied about everything he has ever said especially if he claims to have information about me committing a hanious crime never hurt anyone in my life if he has information on a crime then he must have committed it and is trying to put it on me and I believe he is really convincing them that I am the one that is responsible for real I know that I sound crazy but I am not and I'm not on drugs I am just afraid for my life and I don't know where else to go for help some kind of answer so I can get in touch with the right people thanks for your time and help
