A: No... But ignoring an LEO's question which does not admit to a crime is a good way for a crime to be found and charged.

A: During a traffic stop, a passenger is generally not required to provide identification to police if they have not committed a visible law infraction. The primary focus of the traffic stop is on the driver and any potential violations related to the vehicle or driving behavior.

However, if the officer has a reasonable suspicion that the passenger has committed a crime or is involved in illegal activity, they may ask for identification. In such cases, it’s best to remain calm and cooperative while understanding your rights.

It's always wise to know your rights and the specific laws of your state. If you feel your rights have been violated, consider discussing the incident with a legal professional who can provide guidance based on the specific circumstances of the traffic stop.
