Q: I have an issue with a forensic evaluator, they screamed at me and refused to work with me, and showed bias on camera
They stole evidence from me and informed about a situation that was untrue, while laughing at serious issues pertaining to my son. This was all under recording. He lied to the courts to try and save himself after his numerous calls to me after screaming at me trying to “rectify” the situation. I have proof from a private investigator that he lied on those tapes as well. This could affect custody and also affect my child’s life. I am traumatized by how I was treated.
A: I'm sorry for your ordeal. This might be something that a family law attorney should advise on, but you await a response for a week. Since you describe a setting involving custody, "Family Law" could be a more relevant category than "Medical Malpractice," the category you posted under. Additionally, forensic experts or independent medical examiners generally use disclaimers to provide notice that their opinions do not result in the formation of a doctor-patient relationship. You could repost under "Family Law," but your matter looks like something where any attorney is going to want to know more details about the setting in order to advise meaningfully - beyond the brief scope of a Q & A forum. Good luck
A:
The state's licensing board for psychologists accepts complaints of psychologists, and guidelines are found in the American Psychological Association Ethical Guidelines.
For very many counties in New York, a family court is a hall of smoke and mirrors. The court will appoint professionals to help the court achieve the policy results it wants to achieve. The end justifies the means which is the method used to convict Trump in a criminal court.
The asker should see a family law attorney with more details to get the best possible assessment and for a plan as to how to proceed.
