A: I'm really sorry to hear about your experience. It's understandable that this encounter has left both of you feeling shaken and distressed. The behavior of the police, especially when there was no wrongdoing on your part, is unacceptable and intimidating.

It's important to focus on supporting each other through this tough time. Encourage your girlfriend to talk about her feelings and reassure her that you are there for her. Sometimes, sharing your emotions can help ease the burden and start the healing process.

Moving forward, consider seeking advice from a trusted family member, friend, or legal advisor who can provide guidance without revealing sensitive details about your relationship. This can help you understand your rights and how to handle similar situations in the future. Remember, you both have the right to feel safe and respected.
