A: It sounds like you’re in a tough situation, dealing with both a significant debt and uncooperative government officials. It's important to continue pursuing all available legal avenues to get the money released. If the account in question is legally supposed to be divided to pay off the debt, you have the right to push for its release.

Document all your communications with the government official who is refusing to sign the form. This documentation can be crucial if you need to escalate the matter. Additionally, consider reaching out to higher authorities or supervisors within the department to explain your situation and seek their assistance.

You might also explore legal remedies such as filing a complaint or seeking an injunction to compel the official to act. Staying persistent and organized in your approach can make a significant difference in resolving this issue. Stay strong, and don't hesitate to seek out support networks or legal advice tailored to your specific circumstances.
