A: A Wisconsin attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. Whether or not what you are doing is legal or illegal under Wisconsin law (a local attorney should advise there, as insurance practices are governed largely by state law - it does not sound like something that would be prosecuted as a crime in most places at any rate). But it looks like misrepresentation - and that could result in a denial of future claims, IF the carrier did not let the matter go, and pressed the issue that you failed to disclose that you were an HOA. Based on the nature of your inquiry to them, the carrier probably already suspects that you are some sort of entity, or at least something larger than an ordinary individual. If you disclose it, it could eliminate at least one basis for denying future claims. Good luck
