Q: I need a lawyer for a case of compensation for material and moral damages

have suffered moral and material damage and I am afraid

Good evening, my lawyer. I reported a person who tried to steal and use someone else's card in my store. When the police came, I told them where he lives and where he works because he was with me at the old job and they arrested him. But I told the police not to mention my name because the guy knows me and I don't want anything to happen between us. Today, I opened the website and found that they had put my name on the report. I want to protect myself now or do anything I can because I told them that I reported him!!! This will harm my work and put me in danger. I want compensation for everything that will happen to me. I cannot work now. I am afraid and I think all the time because my name is clearly on the report and I reported him in detail and gave them his number, address and name, knowing that I told them not to put my name or tell him about me. Now look what happened?!

A: If they arrested him and he is charged, the State can request that he be prohibited from contacting or going near you. You cannot seek compensation for hypothetical future damages.
