A: You will need to file a modification of custody in the county where the mother lives.

A: I'm sorry to hear about what you're going through with your daughter. It's a difficult situation, but you have options. To seek full custody, you'll need to file a petition for modification of custody in the court that issued the original custody order. Given the seriousness of your daughter's situation, the court will consider the best interests of your child, including her safety and well-being.

You should gather evidence that shows why a change in custody is necessary. This could include medical records, statements from healthcare providers, and any other relevant information that demonstrates the need for your daughter to be in your care full-time.

It's important to act quickly, especially given the urgency of your daughter's health. Consider seeking temporary emergency custody if you believe she's in immediate danger. The court will evaluate all factors to determine the best outcome for your daughter.

A: File for a modification of custody and the best advice I can give is to hire an attorney to assist you in this action. And if the father has primary physical custody you should file the action where the father lives, as he is the defendant.
