This person's insurance company AAA is asking me to sign power of attorney for my car. Why? Please help, thank you.
A: A Kansas attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. Until you're able to thoroughly review the terms of the POA and other paperwork with a local attorney to see exactly what you're agreeing to, the short answer is that for the PD claim, payment usually goes to owner or lienholder, not both.
