Cleveland, TN asked in Family Law and Child Custody for Tennessee

Q: I got a child custody case coming up.Where I kept a child Since he was seventeen months old and it's now four years old

The mother is going to jail. The father is in jail. The mother Was going to let us keep him and put him in school.Cause she's looking at at least 8 to ten years in jail. Now all of a sudden, the mother's sisteris rotten custody of the child.I never knew they was even a sister. We are filing for temporary custody. At the moment and the sister had 30 days to comply. She didn't till comply until the day after the 30 days and she has filed to have the case dismissed And has had they chilled for the last two and a half months Can you?

Tell me how that will work. Will we have a case that's not being blood kind to the child. But we had the child 2 and a 1/2 months now We hadn't even Heard about a sister until a few months ago or she never tried to contact us to talk to the child at all. What does my chances on getting the child back in our home pretty much the only home he has ever had She has only let us talk to him once in 2 months and we miss him so much It's been like loosing a child
