Q: STATE VS CASSIDY PCR (Overturned) Wrongful conviction c completely ruined my life. Am I able to file a lawsuit?
I passed a Field Sobriety Test, they arrested me on anyway, then tested me at the police station a little while afterward. I blew 1.0, this was my "second offense".
I was absolutely not inebriated in any way shape or form, but suffered a 2 year loss of license, major fines, a violation of probation, lawyer fees and lost wages
(7months of lost work or more from not driving, $175 weekly child support), as well as 7 months of my freedom for 1st offense driving on the suspended from a 2nd offense DWI while driving my newborn girl home from her first day out of the hospital. Consequently while in jail the mother of my child lost custody and as did I since I wasn't there to provide for her. That day ruined my life, quite literally, I haven't seen my daughter in 5 years because of this, pain and suffering, defamation of character, lost wages, divorced, lost my house, lost one of my children got the 5 years and more all due to a false DWI wrongful conviction. I have much more to say...
