Q: If I willingly gave money but people lied about what they used it for/withheld returning money do I get a lawyer or cops
I hope this message finds you well. I am seeking your assistance with a couple of legal issues involving individuals who owe me money.
1. **Individual #1**: This person borrowed $400, claiming it was needed to cash a check and for other expenses. He assured me he would repay the amount with his tax refund, but I have yet to receive any payment. Additionally, I have heard that he is struggling with drug-related issues and continues to request more money from me.
2. **Individual #2**: This individual took money from me under the pretense of providing transportation. I requested that she return the funds if she was unable to take me to the agreed destination. Instead of repaying me, she withheld the money and provided false information about her Cash App account being reported. She later admitted to lying and has used my funds for personal expenses related to her vehicle.
