Q: After divorce, how important is it to update the court about pay increases?
I have a friend who has been divorced for 5 years. She has a daughter with Cerebral Palsy and cognitive impairment. At the time of her divorce, her lawyer didn't mark the UCSO to say that child support would continue past 18, due to not graduating highschool on time.
Now she's in a predicament. She makes more money than she did at the time of the divorce. What are the chances that she would have to pay her ex back something? What are the chances she can get the UCSO updated?
