Q: hi I’m trying to file for a child support modification. There has been a change in circumstances
The first child support order was a default one year ago and they use department of labor income to calculate support since then the child is now in daycare that is about 1000 dollars a
months. That’s a change and the father has a new job paying more that’s a change, and the father never got insurance and the mother pays insurance I believe that is a material change in circumstances. Can you let me know if there’s anything else I need to meet to qualify for modification because Daycare is literally taking all my money and existing child support .
I did use my states calculator and it says he should be paying 400 more dollars I just need to 200 to breakeven
