Q: I am a disabled veteran currently working as a trucker. I have been denied accommodation to get to and from my truck.
In other words, I can park my truck on the company lot, but need my wife to pick me up and drop me off. I’ve been doing this the entire time until last month.
I work for a large trucking company working through a third party (also a very large company) which is prohibiting my wife from driving on the property to assist me. The company representative has stated to other employees that “if he can’t walk he needs to leave”.
