Q: *fail to reg> Oct '24 Per 2006 online sting convicted 2009 by plea bargin to (attempted) Carnal Knowledge of Juv

There's a couple laws that could potentially affect my situation I'm curious if either of them is a good defense:

(3)(a) Any

person who was

convicted of carnal

knowledge of a

juvenile (R.S. 14:80)

prior to August 15.

2001, may petition the

court of conviction to

be relieved of the sex

offender registration

and notification

requirements of this

Chapter if the offense

for which the

offender was

convicted would be

defined as

misdemeanor carnal

knowledge of a

juvenile (R.S. 14:80.1)

had the offender been

convicted on or after

August 15, 2001.

Or

Rs 15:429 Corporate existence presumed unless affidavit of denial filed before trial

On trial of any criminal case it shall not be necessary to prove the incorporation of any corporation mentioned in the indictment, unless the defendant, before entering upon such trial, shall have filed his affidavit specifically denying the existence of such corporation.
