Q: I reported misuse of resident funds, They are being investigated for fraud. I am blamed. I want to leave.
I am working with the attorney general. They know. My job is hell now can I collect unemployment due to hostile work environment? Prior to this I was told I was doing a fabulous job. When they realized I had reported them everything changed. My boss attacks me verbally every day poor stupid things. She does this in management meetings. I know they don’t fire me and they want me to quit. She says every day I know you think all I think about is money. I do not comment back. There is a serious issue here and I am cooperating with the government. I have agreed to testify in anything they need to because our resident suffer. The attorney general office has stated that they have wanted someone to come to them for a long time. They sent me repeatedly For contacting them. I actually only called APS anonymously, but was called by the attorney general the very next morning. I am miserable. I can’t take it anymore. Do I have recourse? Can I get unemployment?
