Q: This relates to custody/child support in Georgia.
My ex-husband obtained custody of our two youngest boys in a modification case two years after our divorce. I maintained custody of our other son. The court order awarded child support for the two boys in his custody but left out the child in my custody. I appealed. The COA vacated the child support portion of the order and agreed that the court must include all the children in child support and remanded back to the trial court for further proceedings. It has been two years since the trial now. To my question, does the child support order from the divorce (when I had custody of all three children) remain enforceable until an acceptable new child support order of the court (pursuant to the custody modification) is signed?
