Q: I am a DV survivor. Ex husband is threatening court saying I kidnapped our son after 2 years. I need help. Can he dothis
I discussed with him several times about moving and he was fine with it. But when he gets angry he then threatens with court. We previously had in NY an order of protection granted for my son (when he was 8) due to verbal abuse and making threats about me to him. To the point of my son having a crisis where he said, he would rather die than live with his father and the world was too hard. We hadn't spoken to him in 2yrs bc after we left ny, he would get angry with my son if he didn't call him regularly. He told both of us if we didn't call him after that day, he wasn't calling us anymore. My son and him spoke 1 more time and he cursed him out so bad that my son didn't want to speak to him anymore. In Sept. of this year he reached out to my oldest to call him but my son just forwarded me the message bc he didn't want to s/w him. We called him & he promised us he'd chgd but after 3 weeks he's back w/ the threats and yelling/ cursing. He says he's taking me to court for kidnapping, can he
