Q: Housing a dog that had puppies with my male dog. Can we keep the puppies? No financial support from other owner in 3 mos
The mother dog's owner has her family threatening to come to my home and take all the puppies. We had said they can get 2 and had 4 weeks to come, but after the threat and fear of danger we decided no one is coming to our home with our kids and we will send the mom dog back home. There has been no compensation made or financial responsibility on the other owner .we have been solely responsible for the well being of all the animals. The owner stated they would handle all expenses, food, grooming and such. This has not happened. Also, the owner has no where for the dogs to go once they pick them up. The owner's parents doesn't want any if the dogs at their house.
